Lydia Joy was brought up in a Christian home and was in the worship team with her dad, who lead every week, from the age of 13. From around that age Lydia began to get a real love of songwriting and singing and taught herself how to play the piano on an upright grand that was very out of tune, but extremely loved!

At 19 she moved to the USA for 9 months to attend a worship school in Kenosha, WI, as part of a small group of churches called Living Light Christian Church. Here her heart was radically changed as she began to catch the heart of prophetic worship and learn the art of leading worship.

The school also had Bible study classes, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and loads more. Lydia came back in June of 2010 totally changed and in love with the presence of God and leading people into it. In August of that year she married Rob and began to travel with him, ministering to churches around the country as well as prisons. In 2012 she recorded her first EP which is on Spotify and Apple Music and titled “Crimson Made New”; available here.

Lydia’s heart is to see people come into the fullness of their destiny and to see people truly experience the presence of God.
