Our Malawi Team

Meet McDonald & Charity

We are delighted to introduce to you our team of leaders in Malawi who serve Kingdom Cause Community so passionately.

Bishop Macdonald and his wife Charity lead New Life Apostolic Churches, an Apostolic ministry that has now planted 13 churches across Malawi and 1 church in Mozambique. With our support they have been able to plant again this year and we are so thrilled to walk with them and work together in unity to see the kingdom of God increase in this great nation.

Rob and Macdonald have become very close friends and speak everyday on the phone via WhatsApp and Rob has spent a great deal of time with Macdonald over his last few visits to this nation. They immediately bonded over a core value of loving Jesus and seeing the lost saved. Every member of the team that visited Malawi agreed that Macdonald and his wife were the right people to help us pioneer a new work in their country.

The fruit so far has been incredible with hundreds saved, Macdonalds own church in Lilongwe doubled in size and major improvements to the building and the area surrounding already underway.

Macdonald and Charity form part of our Apostolic leadership team and offer accountability and counsel as locals and with much experience in the ministry.

They have 8 children plus 2 grandchildren and we love them very dearly. Macdonald is a science teacher and Charity loves to work with the children in the church and they both want to develop their influence through spreading the gospel and raising the next generation of leaders.

Rob, Lydia and the Kingdom Cause Community team have partnered with them and will now work fervently to help them increase their vision and see many come to Christ.

Rob says “I was so attracted to their humble hearts and simple faith, their passion for prayer and to see God move in their community and nation” “I waited for 18 months before partnering with them simply out of principle but my heart knew the day we met that God Himself had set us up to work and pioneer together”

Bishop Maxwell

Maxwell is an incredibly passionate man with a very sweet and humble heart. Maxwell is Bishop Macdonald's spiritual son and has also become a firm friend of Rob and a great prayer support. Maxwell has a deep compassion for the orphan children and will be heavily involved in our work to release as many as we can from poverty and abandonment.

Maxwell's marriage experienced a powerful transformation after Rob gave them a word of knowledge and his wife was gloriously set free. These are moments that mark a friendship and set a foundation in place for the future.

Maxwell leads a New life Apostolic church branch in Mzuzu in the north of Malawi. Kingdom Cause Community will start taking teams to his church to help evangelise in July 2018 and we are expecting many saved and the church to experience the same growth that Macdonald's is now as we work together.

Maxwell and his wife live very simple lives and they have 4 children.

We are very pleased to have Bishop Maxwell on our team and serving together in the Great Commission.

Tresor

Meet Tresor

Tresor is a young man full of passion and potential. Rob met him at a conference he was preaching at and out of 600 leaders felt very strongly that he must stay connected with Tresor. They stayed in contact and Rob invited Tresor to join him at his next visit to Lilongwe and they spent time together sharing their hearts and building a relationship. Bishop Macdonald also immediately took to Tresor and agreed we should invest in his spiritual life and train him up for the ministry.

Tresor lives on a refugee camp and opened the camp up for Rob to preach the gospel. We are in talks now with local church leaders to hold a gospel crusade in this desperately poor refugee camp that houses over 23,000 Africans.

Rob says “Sometimes you meet someone and can immediately tell they are quality, and Tresor is such a man” “He lives and breathes to see the real gospel preached and hates the prosperity message that is ruining so many leaders in his country” “I am delighted to mentor Tresor and to invest in his life and future”

We are training Tresor to be an effective Evangelist and minister of the gospel.
